We are located in Maple Ridge, B.C. It is
about one hour from Vancouver. We have many critters, like many birds, three cats, several fish tanks, etc. Our house is
always growing with critters.
I have always been around animals my whole
life. When I was younger, I worked at the Vancouver Aquarium. I have worked in many pet stores, feed stores and Veterinary
hospitals. My mom and I rescued many animals with the SPCA and other organizations. At about 10 years old, my mom and I began
raising a number of different birds. We had all types of Macaws, Cockatoos, Amazons, Conures, Cockatiels, Budgies, and Finches.
We would also do home visits for clipping of wings, nails and giving advise on care of birds. My family have also raised many
hamsters, rats, mice and hedgehogs. I have over 30 years experience raising a large number of birds.
