Birds Exotic Aviary sells only birds that are in excellent health and disease free to the best of our knowledge
at the time of sale.
You are responsible for the behaviour and health of your bird. Not all bird species are for beginners, please choose a
bird appropriate for your experience level.
While in most cases, the birds that we sell are handraised babies, no guarantee is made as to the future personality of
the bird. No guarantee is made that the bird will get along with your existing birds, pets or children. Some birds, especially
larger parrots, socialise better with men or women. Our babies are handraised by both sexes and socialized with children,
birds and cats. However no guarantee can be made as to their future behaviour.
No guarantee is made as to the breeding potential of the bird, even when the sale is of a previously proven or bonded pair.
No guarantee is made against injury or accidents, once the bird has left our aviary.
Usually the wings are clipped before the birds leave our aviary, but be aware that flight feathers do grow back (Yes I
have had people ask if I would replace a bird that flew away!).
A 24 hour health guarantee comes with each bird. If the bird were to die during the guarantee period, immediately refrigerate
(not freeze) the body in a zip lock bag and get the bird to a qualified Avian Veterinarian or laboratory for necropsy to detect
cause of death. The bird must then be returned to Birds Exotic Aviary as proof. With verification of the above conditions
to Birds Exotic Aviary, we will consider replacement with another bird of the same age or species.
A replacement, if any, will be considered, based on the cause of death. No replacement on inconclusive findings. Because
many avian disease are airborne, this guarantee is not valid if other birds are kept in the same house.
Birds Exotic Aviary is not responsible for the cost of any Veterinary procedures including examination, treatment, testing,
or necropsy. All delivery expenses are the responsibility of the purchaser.
